Sol Hill, abstract figurative art photography

I call my pieces energy paintings because they are a fusion of a digital photographic process of my invention with manual materials.

I use the digital artifacts generated on a camera sensor from the influence of energies other than light.

I render the images to emphasize the artifact. I print on Japanese paper and mount to canvas or painter’s board and apply multiple layers of acrylic, and varnishes.
