Art Medium: contemporary figurative painting, mixed media, figure drawing

Technique: My drawings are as much about the materials used and the process of mark-making as they are about the subject.  I use charcoal like it’s paint and my intent is always to convincingly describe the light.  Residual evidence from the process of creation and editing bear witness to the authenticity of the act of discovery.
