Lyndall Bass, bringing discipline, courage and passion to my art

I paint Figure Paintings, Classic Still Life and Marionette Themes. I discovered serious art as a young child through my parent’s art collection, absorbing valuable lessons from master drawings and paintings. I first studied directly with professional artists, then won a Maryland state scholarship to the Corcoran Museum School in Washington D.C. Afterwards, I studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, then to Indiana University for my art and design degrees.

Growing up in a military family, I carry the respect I learned for the traditions of discipline, courage and passion to my art.

After teaching at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, I now live and work in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There is more of everything about me, my work and awards on my website and thank you for visiting!
