Drawing, Charcoal on Arches Cold Press
I love to draw. My inspiration stems from things that move me. I work primarily in charcoal, I love the hands-on approach to the medium and the warm earthy tones and textures I can achieve on natural watercolor paper. Charcoal helps me to say what I want to say. I find it difficult to go into too much detail about my process or subject matter. In the end, I think people are always going to bring to bear their own experience on a piece of visual art. The power of a drawing, the feeling it evokes in the viewer, is something that can never be accurately explained.
