After 25 years as a surgical illustrator and instructor, with “red for the arteries, and blue for the veins”, I decided it was time to step out of my comfort zone and capture friends and family in my own way. Those years of anatomy and drawing were invaluable, but I’m still figuring out how to paint. My new studio has allowed me to set up my etching press (stored for 20+ years) and explore a variety of mediums and subject matter. The process is the passion for me.”
