Parade Floret by Mark Heine has been awarded the prize for “Best 2-Dimensional” piece at the 24th Annual Sooke Fine Arts Show, 2010.
This popular show runs to August 2nd and is well worth a visit. More than 500 artists from across Western Canada entered a record 1,400 pieces this year, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, textiles, glass pieces, jewelry, etc. There’s something for every taste.
