Encaustic has been my medium of choice in my most recent work. Encaustic is a Greek term meaning “to burn in” and refers its the fusing process. As a lifelong painter, this is most beautiful, challenging, and alluring medium I have ever attempted to approach. As always, I interpret representational imagery with a painters sensibilities.
