Jocelyn Braxton Armstrong

Using porcelain, forms are thrown, then cut up, altered and reassembled using black slurry. The surface is sponged off. The sculpture is dried then sanded, accentuating the scored black lines lending the sculpture its stitched effect. Glazed or unglazed, fired to cone 6 oxidation.
